What you can ask for
How it keeps your app safe
- Admins only. Agents sign in as a WordPress administrator, and only while the AI tools are switched on.
- Off until you turn it on. The AI tools, push notifications from agents, and builds from WordPress each have their own switch, all off by default.
- Preview first. Changes can be previewed before they’re saved. The agent shows you the plan and waits for your answer.
- Two-step for risky changes. Changing who can see or pay for something, removing things, starting builds, and sending push notifications need a second confirmation tied to exactly what you approved.
- No overwriting your work. If a page is open in the block editor, or someone changed it since the agent read it, the agent’s change is refused and it reads again.
- Undo. Every change the agent makes is recorded for 30 days and can be undone with “undo the last change”.
- No secrets in the chat. Agents never read or write store logins, keys, or passwords. When something like that is missing, the agent tells you where to add it yourself.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.9 or newer.
- The Blockli plugin, connected to your app in Blockli Studio.
- An administrator account on the site.
Get started
1
Turn on the AI tools
In WordPress, open Blockli → Tools → AI Tools and switch on Allow AI agents to use the Blockli tools.
2
Connect your agent
Follow Connect an agent for Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or another agent.
3
Ask it to look around
Start with: “Call get-started and tell me about my app.” The agent reports your site, app pages, active plugins, and the tools it can use.
Most changes, such as pages, menus, colours, and access, show in the app on their own. The app icon, splash screen, and new native features need a new build. The agent tells you when that’s the case.
